Not so much singers I loved as Suzanne Vega. An impressive voice and a real presence.

Maybe it was ’cause I lived on the second floor at that time. Or maybe because of a very strong history with railways. Or other stupid reasons that don’t matter.

So, for anyone who heard only dancing-DNA-rap version, here it is the original version of Tom’s Diner, one of my best favourite song of ever. And a little bonus : Suzanne talkin’ about the song history. So … enjoy.

    I love your choice, NYC part of my memories too, when I was a student and later while working, it’s funny I think I know the place she’s talking about ;)
    Yes, running people in crowded streets, insecure trains, lot’s of loneliness all around.
    But also a wonderful city somehow, or you love it or you hate it, no in between in the feelings and so creative during those years.

    Intéressant, elle fait partie de ces chanteuses dont on a du mal à lui faire correspondre un visage ; et la vidéo le montre bien.

    Je m’en doutais un peu ;) Alors ai complété tout simplement.
    J ‘aurais pu choisir Evergreen mais le titre ne s’y prétait pas.

    J’aime bien quand vous suivez le fil, mais pas certaine que vous ayez tout bien compris… !:( Difficile pour moi de faire plus clair. Pas envie de raconter ma vie sur le web, pourtant le tout est lié, vous avez les clefs de compréhension à présent.
    8 et 12 arrondis, disons…;)
